Customised QR codes
Standard QR codes, although easily recognisable, can be an ugly part of product labelling or your design. We can make your QR code with colour and logos to better match your brand image.
If you have a good designer, they can modify the QR codes for you. However, this is often expensive, and sometimes they can inadvertently damage the actual QR code so that it won’t scan.
We have dedicated designers that can provide custom QR code designs for you.
This product includes;
- a static or dynamic QR code (see below for the difference between static and dynamic)
- QR code images in 3 formats (png, svg and pdf)
In the comments box on the checkout page, tell us about your company’s brand and how you will be using the QR code. Let us know the colours you want. Please email us your logo as a png or jpeg file. Then our designers can create a custom QR code for you.
Any extra design time is charged at ₹1000 per hour.
This example shows the same QR code in original and customised versions.
There are limits to the changes we can make to a QR code, as the overriding aim is to maintain its ability to be scanned. We can introduce two colours (with gradients), add a custom logo to the centre and alter the QR code’s foreground elements.
For all customization options, see here.
Call to Action
We can add a call to action such as ‘Buy Now’ or “Subscribe’.
Static or Dynamic
Please watch our short video explaining the difference between static and dynamic QR codes.
STATIC QR Codes
Static QR codes encode your URL directly in the QR code. They are permanent and will work as long as your website URL doesn’t change. Statics can’t be changed, as the URL is encoded directly in the QR Code. They have unlimited scans. Static QR codes can also be used for things other than URLs, e.g., encoding text, v business cards, sending emails, or SMS messages.DYNAMIC QR Codes
These use our Dynamic QR Code service, which enables the target URL to be changed repeatedly in the future if required.Unlimited scans: Scans of the Dynamic QR Code are UNLIMITED so long as you don’t abuse the QR code with millions of scans that cause technical problems such as crashed servers.
Functions for life: Functions for two years and will continue to function after that for as long as you pay a small 2-yearly hosting fee of $20.
FREE unlimited redirection of the target URL: You can do it as often as you want via our customer portal.
Unlimited tracking: You can order TRACKING REPORTS which function for lifetime of the dynamic QR code.

Boost your product’s online visibility with Global Barcode Registration.
Barcode registration links your physical product to its digital footprint. When consumers scan your barcode with a smartphone app, or when buyers search for your number online, registration ensures your product details and company information may appear instantly.
Important: Read before purchasing.
1. Registration is FREE with our barcode packages: If you are buying an EAN or UPC barcode package directly from us, registration is already included. You do not need to buy this item.
2. This is for third-party or publishing numbers: This service is designed for customers who purchased their barcodes from a different company, or for authors and publishers wanting to register their ISBN or ISSN numbers.
3. This does not include a barcode number: This service only registers numbers you already legally own.
Why should I register my barcode?
Registration is completely optional. Your barcodes will scan perfectly at retail checkouts without it. However, registering your product on the major internet databases provides distinct advantages for a growing brand:
-
Smartphone App Integration: When a customer scans your barcode using a scanning app, they may see your product photo, description, and where to buy it, rather than a blank screen. This depends on which app you use.
-
Global Search Presence: Your product joins millions of others on the International Barcodes Database, improving your general online profile and SEO.
-
Theft Deterrence: If another company attempts to illegally use your barcode numbers, your prior registration serves as public proof of ownership.

Ensure global retail compliance with an official Barcode Verification Report.
While most domestic retailers in India do not require a formal verification report, some major supermarkets and hypermarkets in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere may demand one. A Barcode Verification is an official, diagnostic test scan of your final printed packaging to prove your barcode meets international standards.
Stop! Read this before you print your packaging.
A verification test grades the physical print quality of your barcode. To ensure you pass the test (and avoid costly reprints), please have your graphic designer read these two guides before sending your artwork to the printer:
How the verification process works:
-
Step 1: Place Your Order. Purchase the verification service below.
-
Step 2: Mail Your Sample. Post a physical sample of your barcode exactly as it is printed on the final label or product packaging. Find our postal address here.
-
Step 3: Diagnostic Testing. We scan your packaging using high-tech, internationally recognized verification equipment.
-
Step 4: Receive Your Report. Within three days of receiving your physical sample, we email you the official report. A grade of A, B, C, or D is a Pass. Grades E or F indicate a Fail.
Order Your Verification Test
Once your order is complete, please mail your physical packaging sample to our testing facility.

Ensuring Consistent Barcode Quality
For small producers scaling up, failing a verification test can result in rejected shipments and wasted packaging. Follow these best practices to ensure your barcodes are universally readable.
1. Follow the Standards
Never guess the dimensions. Familiarize yourself with exact UPC and EAN magnification standards. Adhering to these rules ensures your barcodes meet strict retailer requirements.
2. Monitor Print Quality
Pay close attention to print resolution, ink contrast, and your packaging substrate. Glossy or metallic curves can warp scans. Ensure your printing equipment is well-maintained.
3. Implement Testing
Develop a consistent process for checking quality at various stages of production. Regular spot-checks help catch and correct mechanical printing issues early.
4. Use Verification Tools
While standard laser scanners are great for daily operations, they cannot grade print quality. True verification tools measure against ISO standards for complete quality control.
5. Train Your Team
Educate your warehouse and design teams on the importance of barcode contrast and quiet zones (the empty space around the code) to maintain operational efficiency.
6. Keep Records
Maintain records of your formal verification results. This provides valuable data for troubleshooting if a retailer ever claims your product will not scan.
